REALLY, the standards of literacy in some places are appalling. When a New Zealand family went away over Christmas leaving the dog behind, they did all that could expected of them, putting out enough food for five days, in bowls clearly labelled "

Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", etc. We're sorry to say that the dog ate everything by Tuesday and then began howling for more, upsetting the neighbours and causing the police to be called.
