Israel yesterday announced a ban on the import of dolphins for entertainment, ending a week-long hunger strike by a US dolphin trainer who now campaigns to free them, Reuter reports from Jerusalem. After the move, Richard O'Barry, who trained Flipper, star of the 1960s television show, ended his fast.
