Egypt prepares to win back tourists
Egypt is to spend pounds 28m on promoting its image in an attempt to win back tourists scared off by Muslim militants and regain pounds 535m in lost revenue, Reuter reports from Abu Simbel. The Tourism Minister, Mamdouh Beltagi, said that the country plans to advise potential visitors against taking Nile cruises, which have been attacked by Muslim militants, and to avoid the militant stronghold of Assiut.
