Eight gunmen shot dead in Algeria

Security forces in Algeria have shot dead eight gunmen in various incidents in different parts of the country since Monday, Reuter reports from Paris. Ten men were also arrested in the town of Jijel, east of Algiers, and charged with aiding a terrorist group and burning down a schoolhouse.
