Islamabad - Eleven people were killed and more than 30 wounded in Pakistan in unrest provoked by an opposition strike aimed at toppling the Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto. The opposition leader, Nawaz Sharif, said the stoppage had been a success. 'The government has reacted madly, it has lost its senses,' he said. But a government spokesman said the strike mounted by Mr Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League had little impact. Reuter
