LAGOS - Nigeria's high court ordered the release on bail of the presidential claimant, Moshood Abiola, but his aide said he had rejected the terms of his release.
Judge Mohammed Mustapha said Mr Abiola, the undeclared winner of last year's annulled presidential election, must not address a political rally, must keep the peace and not travel out of the country without authority. 'Chief Abiola is still in police custody and will not accept these conditions,' his spokesman said. Reuter
