Aid agencies warn of Angola disaster

Luanda - Angola is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe that can only be averted if both sides in its civil war reopen aid routes within two weeks, aid agencies say. They said that fighting since May between government troops and Unita rebels had stopped food and medicine from reaching more than half-a-million people. AP
