Haiti's ousted President, Jean Bertrand Aristide, said he hoped to return to Haiti after the Prime Minister, Marc Bazin, announced his resignation, Reuter reports from Managua. .

Asked whether Mr Bazin's resignation, announced last night, could mean he would be able to return within the next few weeks, Mr Aristide said: 'even days'.
