A former official of the Nationalist Party of Germany was convicted yesterday of leading an attack against a refugee home and sentenced to three years in prison, AP reports from Schwerin. Rudiger Klasen, 25, the former party district chief in Hagenow in eastern Germany, was sentenced on charges of breaking and entry, attempted serious arson and attempted serious bodily injury.
