VIENNA (AP) - Under the motto 'Austria first', the Freedom Party of the right-wing populist Jorg Haider began collecting signatures for a petition backing his campaign for stricter curbs on immigrants and refugees.
Over the next seven days the 12-point petition will be open for signing. It calls for a toughening of Austria's refugee laws, bolstering police forces to deal with illegal immigration and quotas on the number of foreign children in school classes.
