Vienna (Reuter) - Austria's coalition government has agreed to seek European Community membership as a neutral state. Leaders said that neutrality conformed with the terms of the Maastricht treaty on European Union. The government unanimously approved a negotiating position for the start of official entry talks next month, the Chancellor, Franz Vranitzky, and the Foreign Minister, Alois Mock, said yesterday.
