The Belgian Defence Minister, Leo Delcroix, formally threatened to pull his troops out of a multinational corps that could be the embryo of future European armed forces, Reuter reports from Brussels. His ministry said Mr Delcroix had written to German Defence Minister Volker Ruhe and his French counterpart, Francois Leotard, repeating a request that Dutch be used in official Eurocorps ceremonies and documents.
