Sweden is reviewing its daily cash allowances for prisoners after reports that Russians are travelling to the country and breaking the law to earn hard currency in jail, Reuter reports from Stockholm.
The Justice Minister, Gun Hellsvik, said the ministry would consider altering the allowances 'so that a prison term is less attractive for people from countries with a lower standard of living than Sweden'.
