ROME (Reuter) - Milan prosecutors, who want to charge the Socialist leader Bettino Craxi with corruption, dismissed a call by the former prime minister for a broad inquiry into how Italian parties get their funds.
Milan's director of public prosecutions, Saverio Borelli, said there was a risk such an inquiry would take a long time and cause huge confusion just as prosecutions were planned.
