Croats violate no-fly zone

CROATS have been violating the UN no-fly zone over Bosnia to resupply the encircled Vitez pocket, writes Christopher Bellamy. Around a score of parachute drops took place, which is acutely embarrassing for the UN and Nato, who are clearly incapable of enforcing the no-fly zone, or unwilling to do so. Six parachutes were seen over Vitez at 8.30am yesterday, and between 10 and 20 at around 12.45pm. Nato jets appeared overhead about two hours after each drop. At least four bundles landed in or near the Vitez explosives factory, and probably contained ammunition intended for Croats.
