According to certain chroniclers of the EU, Brussels has ordained that all fishermen must wear hair-nets. It is true that the European Union has laid down guidelines for cleanliness aboard fishing vessels. But there is no mention of hair-nets. They occur only in a separate directive concerned with hygiene in fish-processing plants.
