PARIS (Reuter) - The French Prime Minister, Pierre Beregovoy announced a plan to help French farmers through a drastic reform of the European Community's Common Agricultural Policy. The measures, including tax cuts, debt relief and help for small cattle farmers, were welcomed by Luc Guyau, the leader of the powerful farmers' union, FNSEA.
