Sepp Blatter has been re-elected as the president of Fifa, as an FBI investigation into alleged long-standing corruption continues.

Mr Blatter ignored calls for him to quit from a host of football leaders across Europe following the arrests of seven top officials in Zurich on Wednesday.

In a press conference on Thursday, he blamed the "action of individuals" for the corruption scandal, which he described as "unprecedented and difficult times for Fifa".
