Helsinki - A clear majority of Finns taking part in advance voting before a 16 October referendum want their country to join the European Union, according to an exit poll published yesterday. The exit poll in Finland's biggest newspaper, the Helsingin Sanomat, involved 1,052 voters around the country and found that 67.6 per cent had said 'yes' to Finnish EU membership. Reuter
