Peruvian voters yesterday approved a new constitution in a referendum seen as a vote of confidence in President Alberto Fujimori, a private polling organisation said, AFP reports from Lima. Nationwide, 55.3 per cent of the 12 million registered voters accepted the new constitution and 44.7 rejected it, the projection said.
