Verona (Reuter) - Gays staged a mock execution in front of Verona cathedral to protest against a Vatican document that said homosexuals could legitimately be discriminated against in some cases.

Homosexuals and lesbians also handed out pamphlets denouncing the Vatican. The Vatican document said it was legitimate to discriminate against gays in employment, housing and adoption rights.
