Athens (Reuter) - Greece yesterday called the Macedonian President, Kiro Gligorov, a threat to peace for rejecting international arbitration to settle a dispute over the name of the former Yugoslav republic. Athens has so far blocked international recognition of Macedonia, saying its name implies territorial ambitions against Greece's northern Macedonian region.
