German prosecutors yesterday closed an investigation into the death of the suspected left-wing guerrilla Wolfgang Grams during a police ambush last June after concluding that he had committed suicide, Reuter reports from Schwerin. Independent reports last year had indicated Grams shot himself in the head as police were about to seize him.
