VILNIUS (Reuter) - Lithuania's acting President, Algirdas Brazauskas, said the economy was in a critical state, and urged efforts to improve links with eastern Europe and Russia. 'A large number of people face the dilemma: do we choose to eat until we are full or to save our money to pay our rent and our gas, our heating, our electricity?' Mr Brazauskas said.
