Man gets nose bitten off by horse

The drunk man tried to kiss the horse who did not take it well

A 25-year-old man lost part of his nose when a horse in the Russian city of St Petersburg bit it off, local reports said.

According to local news outlet Fontanka.ru, the man tried to make a pass at the rider before going to feed and then kiss the horse instead.

This resulted in him losing part of his nose when the horse attacked him. 

The police reportedly said that the man “tried to kiss the animal despite the woman’s warnings that it may bite.”

The inebriated man was sent to hospital where he is said to have had his nose stitched back together.

A graphic photo of the results was shared by the Baza Telegram. They identified the man as Vasya, which is a nickname for Vasily. In the photograph his nose is hidden by a gauze dressing. Apparently no plaster cast was needed but the man may have scars.

Fontanka.ru reported that the police said “the guy got off easy” adding that “if he had come from the rear, the hoof injuries would have been much more severe than a cosmetic defect.”
