French police rescued the son of a wealthy German entrepreneur and captured his three kidnappers after a shoot-out near the eastern city of Strasbourg yesterday, Reuter reports from Strasbourg. The unidentified hostage, who said to be about 30 years of age, was freed unhurt during a routine police check on a camper vehicle in the town of Selestat, south of Strasbourg.
