Hungary acts on dog fights

Hungary banned dogfights and the breeding of animals for fighting, AFP reports from Budapest. Anyone taking part in animal fights or who bets on, breeds, trains, keeps or trades in fighting animals will be fined. The import and breeding of pitbull terriers and bandogs will be banned and the animals confiscated and castrated.
