'Investigator' dies

STOCKHOLM (AFP) - The Swedish journalist Ebbe Carlsson, controversial mainly for his clandestine role as 'independent investigator' in the inquiry over Olof Palme's assassination in 1986, died of Aids in Stockholm at the age of 44.
