An uproar over a pre-election deal by Australia's Prime Minister, Paul Keating, with the Canadian publisher Conrad Black, part-owner of the Fairfax newspaper group, heated up yesterday, with Mr Keating saying Mr Black's memory was fuzzy on what was promised, Reuter reports from Canberra. 'People have fuzzy recollections of these conversations,' Mr Keating said after an article by Mr Black published yesterday appeared to contradict Mr Keating's Position. 'I've collected conversations with media proprietors like other people collect stamps. I remember them very well and I know exactly what I say,' Mr Keating said.
