The Kenyan government yesterday outlawed a book highly critical of President Daniel arap Moi and his government by the opposition leader Kenneth Matiba, Reuter reports from Nairobi. Johnstone Kalweo, the minister in charge of internal security, gave no reason for the ban, which followed a raid on a printing press on Thursday night by 200 armed policemen who seized 15,000 copies of Mr Matiba's book, entitled Kenya: Return to Reason.
