MOSCOW (AP) - Prolonged forest fires in Belarus have sent radiation levels soaring by kicking up dust and ash from the Chernobyl nuclear power station explosion, the Itar-Tass news agency reported. Radioactive matter from the April 1986 explosion at Chernobyl contaminated dozens of villages in Belarus and Ukraine.
