Rodney Peairs, 30, was found not guilty of shooting dead Yoshihiro Hattori, a 16-year-old Japanese exchange student, last autumn, Reuter reports from Baton Rouge. Hattori was shot when he knocked on Peairs's door by mistake and ignored his order to 'freeze', apparently not understanding the word.
