CommentsA French-Italian scientific expedition has found that Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain, is 2 metres (6.7ft) lower than previously thought at 8,846.10 metres (29,022.6ft), not 8,848.13 metres (29,029.3ft), Reuter reports from Geneva.
