Belgrade (AP) - Russia recognised Macedonia, one of four former Yugoslav republics which have declared independence. Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Vitaly Churkin, handed a letter of recognition to Macedonia's President, Kiro Gligorov, in Skopje.
