Two of the main leaders of the Calabrian mafia, the 'Ndrangheta, were arrested yesterday near the southern Italian town of Reggio de Calabre after being at large for seven years, police said, AFP reports from Reggio de Calabre.
Antonio Imerti, 47, and his brother-in-law Pasquale Condello, 30, surrendered without resisting. The pair had been at the centre of a clan war over control of mafia activities that left about 350 dead.
