Milan (Reuter) - Piero Borghini, the embattled mayor of Italy's industrial and business capital, resigned yesterday, his council majority reduced by Milan's huge corruption scandal. Mr Borghini stepped down after losing majority support of the council when one of his supporters was arrested on bribery charges last week.
