The ousted Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights over his trial for crimes against humanity by a United Nations tribunal in The Hague.
The European court in Strasbourg said yesterday that Mr Milosevic had filed a suit against the Dutch state to challenge the validity of his arrest, his trial and his detention. The court will now decide whether it can accept the complaint.
