Bonn (Reuter) - Russia has offered to take smuggled plutonium seized in Germany last month and dispose of it. The Suddeutsche Zeitung quoted Chancellor Helmut Kohl's intelligence co-ordinator, Bernd Schmidbauer, as saying Moscow had offered to accept the contraband 'regardless of the origin of the plutonium'.
