MP’s aide on spy charge goes into TV

Ekaterina Zatuliveter, the Russian woman detained by British authorities on suspicion of spying, has made her debut as a correspondent for a Kremlin-funded television station.

The 25-year-old, who worked as a parliamentary assistant to the Liberal Democrat MP Mike Hancock, was arrested last December on suspicion of spying for Russia, but released without charge. British authorities are seeking her deportation to Russia.

In her first offering for Russia Today, Ms Zatuliveter complained that Western governments are quick to support demands of protesters in other countries, but ignore similar demands at home.
