LISBON (Reuter) - Portugal said yesterday it would replace Antonio Cardoso e Cunha as its European Commissioner when his mandate expires at the end of this year. The prime minister's office said Portugal would name a replacement in December. Mr Cardoso e Cunha has been a member of the European Commission since Portugal joined the EC in 1986.
