A court yesterday rejected a request by a lawyer defending the Nazi collaborator Paul Touvier that could have made it harder to convict the Frenchman of crimes against humanity, Reuter reports from Versailles.
The appeals court turned down a request that a narrow definition of crimes against humanity be applied to Mr Touvier.
