WARSAW (Reuter) - Poland's President, Lech Walesa, and members of his family have been made dukes and duchesses by Poland's tiny monarchist movement.
The title was one of five bestowed by the Polish Monarchist Movement, the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper said. 'Since the Polish gentry has died out, it is necessary to create a new one, the way Napoleon did,' the paper quoted the movement's leader, Leszek Wierzchowski, as saying.
