The chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Yasser Arafat, and the Israeli Foreign Minister, Shimon Peres, will try to put the PLO-Israel peace deal back on track tomorrow at the funeral in Oslo of the man who helped engineer it, Reuter reports from Cairo.

The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Amr Moussa, said yesterday that Mr Arafat and Mr Peres would meet in Norway when they attend the funeral of Norway's Foreign Minister, Johan Joergen Holst, who died last week.
