A top veterinary researcher urged Canadians to buy sunscreen for their pets, AFP reports from Guelph.
Brian Wilcock, a pathologist with the Ontario Veterinary College said 'Like humans, pets are sensitive to sunlight, and sunscreen should be used to protect their body areas not covered by hair. The ears of cats and the noses of dogs are at greatest risk.'
