WARSAW (AP) - Piotr Jaroszewicz, the murdered Communist former prime minister, was buried yesterday without a military honour guard or any recognition from Poland's democratic government. Jaroszewicz and his wife, Alicja Solska, who were found dead at their home on 2 September, were laid to rest beside many of Poland's other prominent Communists.
Among the 3,000 mourners, mostly loyalists in their 50s or older, were Edward Gierek, the former party leader; General Wojciech Jaruzelski, the Communist Party leader who turned over power to the Solidarity government; and Jerzy Urban, the long-time party spokesman.
