Cambodia's ruling party, which cried foul after losing last month's UN-organised elections, accepted the result yesterday, after winning a large role in an interim power-sharing government, Reuter reports from Phnom Penh.
The Cambodian People's Party said it recognised the results 'in the interests of national reconciliation, peace and stability'. The party took 51 seats to the royalist Funcinpec's 58 in the polls, but claimed the vote was rigged.
