The Russian Communist Party has successfully challenged a bid to have it banned from elections on 12 December, Reuter reports from Moscow.
The Arbitration Court decided there was no legal basis for the request, which came from the First Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Shumeiko, a leading member of the pro-government bloc Russia's Choice.
