Presidential helicopter crashes
A VH-60N Black Hawk helicopter that recently carried President Bill Clinton crashed in the Maryland countryside during a maintenance checkout flight, killing the four Marines on board, AP reports from Nanjemoy. The cause of the crash was not immediately known. The White House spokeswoman, Dee Dee Myers, said the helicopter was not the type in which the President normally flew, but it had recently taken took him to the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier in the Atlantic.
