Paris (Agencies) - Max Frerot, a left-winger serving a life term for murder, bombings and bank hold-ups, went on trial on charges of killing a detective and wounding 31 other policemen in a 1986 bomb attack at police headquarters. A special terrorism court, meanwhile, sentenced five Lebanese to life in prison for their roles in the wave of Paris bombings in 1985-86 that killed 13 people.
