PARIS (Reuter) - Jacques Roseau, a key leader of French settlers in Algeria during its war of independence, was killed by a gunman in the southern town of Montpellier, officials said. Roseau led Recours, the largest organisation representing the 1 million setttlers known as 'pieds noirs'.
